ABOUT US

We are a family-owned and operated school, established in 2001 and operating from the Port Whitby Marina. Since day one, we have continued to offer the highest quality in keel-boat training and programs.

Our mission is to help our clients turn their sailing dreams into attainable goals.

We accomplish this by providing the highest level of professional keel-boat instruction, providing free guidance to all alumni, and hosting a wide range of fun sail-training programs at competitive pricing.

FAQ

Do I need a life jacket?

If you have your own, it will fit better for you but if not we have PFDs you can borrow.
How much time is spent on the water vs class?

We spend 75% on the boat and 25% on shore in class.
Is there a certification level I get?

Yes we are a Sail Canada school and once completed you will get certification from them.
Are there any special clothes/shoes that I need?

Comfortable layered clothing is best with a wind proof outer layer. Shoes need to be non-marking, and sandals need to have a heel strap, no flip flops.
I've never sailed before. Do I need any prerequisites to take the basic course?

No previous experience is needed to take the basic course.
